In the world of the Supra, the issue is running strong enough wastegate springs to be able to boost high. The only way that they can hit 28 psi is to run around with the 1.4 wastegate spring as their boost controllers only give them so much flexibility over that baseline. If their wastegates were set to 1.2, they could only boost 1.8, etc. The boost controller is hooked up properly and regulates boost well, it is just that you can hear the wastegates bleed very early into boost. I gotta fix that. B.
